House buying update...

The home I put a bid on ended up having toxic mold, so I put a bid on another home on Saturday, and it looks like they are going to accept. The house is involved in a divorce, the husband has signed off. We're waiting on the wife, but their realtor is very confident she will sign tomorrow.

The house it's self is a split level on a flat 1/4 acre lot. 3 bed rooms, 2 full bathrooms (one on each floor), 2 fireplaces, nice kitchen, family room, living room, two car garage, covered deck, a hot tub, a koi pond, etc.

You can see pictures here.

Hopefully, by this time tomorrow, I will be the owner of a new house.

I will need to reschedule my hand surgery, though. I'm supposed to get surgery on the 27th, but the house closes on the 28th.

Luckily I still had the page cached and copied the images to my flickr account.

Nope. Up in Bothell. Which works nicely, as we have an office in Bothell as well.

I call that style of a house, a Nebraska House. A lot of houses in NE looked liked that. We also owned a house that looked like that in KS. Thanks for the posts. I should post more myself.
