Yesterday Lance Armstrong catches him and prevents him from having a huge break away. Filippo's response?
"I was suprised by what Armstrong did to me, but he showed the whole world what kind of person he is," Simeoni said, "I was the victim of a big injustice today. It wasn't possible for Armstrong to let a little rider like me have a chance for a little glory in the Tour de France. That's a sin."
Sorry, Filippo, this is a race. Argueably one othe toughest bicycle race in the world. If you are a "little rider", maybe you shouldn't be there. You feel robbed fo a little glory when you can't earn it on your own? Filippo, go join the Special Olympics, where they give you an award for just showing up, because you are not of the stuff a great bicycle racer is made of.
If I was Italian, I would be embarrassed having a whiner like Filippo Simeoni repressenting my country.
