Ugh! Qwest, how you torture me!!!
I put my book down and went to be about midnight. At 3:14am (Pi?) I get paged that the systems are down. I try to check remotely, no luck. So I drive down and everything on our side seems fine. I sit on hold with Qwest for an hour, and they don't answer till right when it starts working. Why can't they include "known outages" in their hold info? Also, a fair number of sysadmins have worked tech support at some point in their lives. We know exactly what it means when the hold music stops, you hear the ring tone, and then the music starts again. It means someone is there and ignoring my fucking call.
