In my efforts to some software to let me take GPS travel data and over lay it on a google map, I found the ultimate example of people having too much time on their hands...

Almost all modern GPS can draw a map showing where you have been (a.k.a., a digital crumb trail). These people have taken this feature and treat it like a giant etchi-sketch. They drive around making giant drawings that only show up on their gps.

Wow. Just, wow.
