My new must have computer device... The i-RAM.

It lets you create a solid state hard drive, which is unbelievably fast (while hard drives are one of the slowest things in your system). It can only go up to 4Gb, but that is enough for me to use for swap space. Litterally, my 500Mhz P3, for large memory applications might out perform new systems using normal hard drives for swap. Hard drives are really that slow, and swapping brings systems to a crawl because you need to wait for the platters to spin, and for the heads to find the right sectors.
