We say several ruins surrounding Cuzco, and saw some awesome storms sweep up the valley. We also met the rest of our party, and it looks like my Mom and I are in better shape than the rest of them, so we wont be holding everyone else up. One woman is rather over weight, the other woman is a little over weight, and the guy is a hard core smoker.

My point in commenting in this format for each of you is that I wanted to say hello from the wood works and pose a few questions as to who you are, etc..

<pardon the troll/intrusion)
I'm posting this response to all members past and present both in their personal journals and as an entry to the community, hoping we can bring a few of you back who may have left due to some dormant days on the Community - I'm still taking lots of pictures - I have 75 rolls to upload of photos taken at parties here in the SF Bay area, and even some from Los Angeles since 9.06.01
A little about myself -
I've been attending events/ promoting parties here in the SF Bay area for 12 years. I've been to parties in Los Angeles, Boston, Florida, New York, Southern California, Amsterdam, Germany, France, London.
I maintain the <a href="http://www.livejournal.com/~sfraves">SF Raves Livejournal Community</a>, and <a href="http://www.sfraves.org">SFRraves.org</a> as well as my <a href="http://www.karina.net">Personal Website Karina.net</a> which has many <a href="http://www.karina.net/raves.html">archived photos of events in the greater SF Bay Area</a> .
I listen to all genres of music - the sfraves interest list details some of my many tastes in Elektronica.
I've lived here in the SF Bay Area my whole life. I grew up near the Ocean, and have many other diverse interests. I attend parties in the Bay area regularly, and am a big supporter of promoters and artists small and well established a like. You can find me at weekly events at the likes of Compression, Phuturo, Eklektic, Killa Subz/Stereophonic, Scope, Impulse, Sonic Manipulations, DNA, Fluorine, Secret Society, among other one offs.
Here's a sample question - I'm interested in hearing more from you guys....
1) What was your first 'rave-related' event?
2) What is your preferred style of music
3) How many BPM do you prefer?
4) Who are your most admired artists?
5) Who are your favorite collectives?
6) What are some of your recommended Rave Related Websites?
7) Who are your favorite promotions/collectives?
8) How long have you been going to parties?
9) What do you love most about raves ?
10) What do you least appreciate about the scene?
Speak up! We'd love to hear from you.
Are any of you interested in the following:
a) swapping mp3s
b) chatting on aim, irc
c) getting together for dinners, pool, parties, anything rave-related or not
d) listing your preferred artists / events here
e) carpooling to events
f) archiving reviews/etc
Please let me know if you are interested in being more involved.
Good luck with the job hunt! The market right now is tight.
Thanks! <3 karina
