In automotive news...

Audi's new endurence race car, the R10 (replacing the awesome R8), will run off a diesel power plant. It's not often you hear of people racing with diesel engines. They are more powerful, reliable, and fuel effcient, but they also tend to weigh a lot more. The R8's have dominated the Le Mans series for a few years, it will be interesting to see how this change affects their standings and how competitors respond.

In other car news, check out the "Glass Factory". The Glass Factory is the automotive plant that VW makes their Phaton at. While I'm not a fan of the Phaton (why pay $80k for a car that looks just a like a Jetta?), this factory is pretty impressive. It looks cleaner than most hospitals.
