Wired has their Top Ten Discoveries of 2005, and number 1 is global warming. The article opens with, "Thanks to the Asian tsunami and Hurricane Katrina, global warming can no longer be ignored."

Anyone want to explain to me what an earthquake caused tsunami has to do with global warming?
