I keep seeing these remote control cameras forsale at Fry's with full outdoor casing and it has me thinking that now the cabin has DSL, a small webserver with a camera so you can check on the beach conditions might be fun. But the camera would be facing west and getfull sun light in it's face in the afternoon/sunset. I know on older usb cameras, direct sun light would burn out the ccd. Are there any any reasonably priced cameras made to take this abuse? What would I look for in the product marketting to tell me if a camera can take looking into the sun?
