Dear New Year, I'm not going down without a fight! Sure, my new lens being broken out of the box sucks. And sitting on hold with B&H for a hour and passed back and forth between three different departments bites. Yesterday, waking up to find my cell phone unusable as a phone (IM's still work fine), was annoying. (running over about now to see if it's the head set or the phone) The dishwasher crapping out so I have to do the dishs by hand was just plain mean. And then the stepping on broken glass this morning was a low blow. But this will be a good year, and I will fight you tooth and nail to make it that way, so you might as well give up now and let the good times roll. When I stop the lens down, two of the blades on the iris stop moving in at about f-16, so you end up with an oval iris, the more elongated the more you stop down. My lens will be in the mail tomorrow to B&H, and hopefully I should have a working model in a couple weeks.
