The fact of the matter is, I've never been to a hockey game. Ever. In my whole life. I think this is a situation that must be fixed. On the plus side, we do have the Portland Winterhawks, which as I understand it is the equivalent to a minor league team. So, who wants to join me on my maiden hockey voyage? Should I see it here, or are there better teams to see near by (like on the Oregon-Washington stretch of the I-5 corridor)? Do I need to fake a Canadian accent and learn to love cheap beer to properly enjoy this sport?
