I pulled out the extension tube and I was able to get an even closer view of the moon. The moon is just 0.5 degrees in width when viewed from the earth, and with the extender tube I can almost fill the frame. Unfortunately it was rather windy out there tonight, and everytime a gust would blow the telescope would wiggle. This means there is some motion blur in all the images. But... This is also good practice for when we have a calm night.

I think tonight will be my last moon pictures for at least the next week due to overcast conditions rolling in (early predictions of snow on Tuesday!!!!).
