Counting the minutes until I'm out of here. Go home and spend some time with the woman I love, Heather. Clean Pepe, my truck. And get everything ready to leave tomorrow.I'm looking forward to my family, to the pets, the greenery, the hot tub, the micro brews, the little shops all over the place. I do love Portland. And when I'm ready to settle down, I think that will be where it happens.
The one thing Portland does not really have, though, is a night life. I like being able to find something to do, no matter what time of day or night. I love that there is always a cool concert, museum opening, party, rave, etc going on.
Last night I was driving home listening to Stanfords radio station and I won tickets to see Shane, Amber, and Dragonfly at DNA Lounge, but I had to miss it. I gave the "tickets" to a friend of mine. Heather wasn't feeling well, and I didn't want to drive all the way up there to get denied because she is 20. One more year, and we'll own that town!
