1.If you moved to a foreign country, would you prefer to live with a friend you already have or journey alone and make an entirely new set of friends?

Just one question?

  1. I would like to live with friends. I like to build from an existing social network, rather than leap frogging from network to network. Just like when I travel, I enjoy doing it with friends. I have no problem making new friends, just like to have a few old ones I can rely on around.

1. do you tend to think of your friends according to categories (like rl, online, work, home etc) or do you tend to think of them as a giant amorphous blob. if you are a categorizer, do you have many crossovers in your categories?

  1. I categorize by trust. Like most of the Seattle Crew and many Gigsville friends I trust implicitly.
  2. Make my partner cum as many times as I can. With the exceptions of a couple one-night-stand type things, I'm sleeping with someone because I love them and I want to make them happy. This is just one way of doing that.
    1. Wayward Son by Kansas.

    3. Day Is Done by Nick Drake.

  4. Best? Just bonding with friends while using them. Being among friends and feeling loved while doing drugs adds a whole new dimension to the experience, much like it does for many other experiences. Worst? Too much acid at an Olie Wilson concert, humping the floor, and being so blind from the drugs that I had to be led out by friends when the police raided the party.
  5. Too many? Not enough? Just right? When love is unrequited, it's too much. When just lonely, it's not enough. When you are in a relationship, it's just right. But really thinking about spending my life with someone, just twice. Once to the woman I was engaged to, Rosa Kim. And then later I had proposed to synapsepi with the promise of a ring when she was done with school so marriage and having to divide her time would not distract from school. There are a couple other people who I think I could love that much but they aren't interested so it's not worth pondering.
  6. I think the terminology. Things like "Friends list". It implies a leave of intimacy that may not be there and results in hurt feelings and misunderstandings. I know I feel hurt when friends unfriend me. On a logical level, I know it's because I post way too much, but on an emotional level I can't help but wonder if there is more to it.
