I was flipping through radio stations the otherday, and KINk was playing AhHa's "Take Me On". I loved that video. The mix of animation and live action was excellently done. But in all reality, the song was not that good. But because of the video and people fond memories of it, we will be forced to listen to it for decades to come without the benefit of the graphics, as it's old enough no place plays the videos, other than when MTV/VH1 does some sort of retrospective.
Video didn't kill the radio stars, it just made the wrong people radio stars.
