I few weeks ago I thought of some visual jokes. But like all poorly done jokes, I think I should explain the idea (just like poorly done art needs an artists statement to explain the meaning). There are a couple people I know who are in about as good of shape as I am who regularly flex their arms and jokingly refer to them as "The Guns". Now, I have actually seens someone (who was even more out of shape than us) with a couple revolvers tattooed to his arms. I can only assume he was referring to his arm fat muscules as "The Guns". This got me thinking, "What would these tough-guy tattooes look like if they actually reflected the condition of their body?"

As I'm not in great shape myself, I thought I would make a good canvas for this experiment.

Here is the first one, "The Guns". I thought of the most ineffectual guns ever made, and the first thing that came to mind was "cork guns". A tiny pop. About a 4 inch range. Does no damage, unless you point it right at your eye. And breaks easily under heavy use. Perfectly reflecting the condition of the body.

I need to clean up the coloring on "THE", but otherwise, I think it came out well.

If my drawing skills are upto the task, I would now like to do a battleship, cruising, about to pass on the left, with water breaking over the bow, looking all tought, except the giant hant coming down toward it with a big red "Battleship (by Milton Bradley)" game piece to say it's been hit.
