The Monster Cable iCarPlay Wireless Plus sucks! I got one in April and it's dead. It seems if you leave it plugged into the lighter (i.e., grab the iPod, disconnect it form the iCarPlay, and leave the iCarPlay plugged into the car) it will fry it's self. Sometimes if you unplugged it and let it cool down it would come back to life, but now it is completely dead.
Save your money and avoid this product. For Monster Cables claims of quality I'm very disappointed.
