Ceci n'est pas une personne.

(no subject)

Yea!!!!! I finally heard from Louise, and all is good. I am jubilant. :-)

I can't wait till she get's home, though I think we won't see her for at least two days after she get's back, other than her wandering to the kitchen and the bathroom. We'll just hear her and Tim gettin' it on for about 48 hours straight. ;)

Hmmm... Set-up a webcam in her room and make some money off of their reunion? ;)

Heather's sister inlaws research proposal got accepted!!! I'm proud of her! I wish I had the drive to be a Ph.D student at Stanford. How does she do it? She amazes me.

Another person who amazes me is Heather, herself. Night before last she did a shitload of homework. Just plowing through, and not giving up, even when she was extremely tired and stressed.

I got laundry folded last night, but that was about it. I'm not impressed with myself, for that work load, but my room will be clean soon.

I also need to get a 50' cat-5 cable torun from Louise's room to the storage room, as that is turning into the office. Then I can get all the computers up there, and we will have a dining room again.

Heather wants to paint my room, and Louise want's to paint the storage room, but we need to decide on colors. The problem is, whatever we pick, needs to be easily covered with two coats of white paint. So, while I would love some dark warm colors, I think we'll be stuck with pastels and the like.

I am also interested in getting invisible black light paint, and painting the wall the entertainment center is on. I'm thinking an underwater theme... Seaweed coming up from the floor, with blightly colored (under a black light) fish, bubles, and maybe a cute seal peering at us with large soulful eyes. I was also thinking small specks of uv paint on the ceiling to make stars. I want to turn on that black light and be transported to a whole new world.

Hmmm... Was there a coffee meet in January, and I missed it? Will there be one in Febuary? Enquiring minds want to know.
