Last nights sunset was amazing. Unfortunately it took me too long to find parking, get out of Pepe, and run up the the apex of the bridge. I lost a lot of the amazing purples and pinks the clouds had. I guess, as with all things, timing is everything.

I had an interesting conversation with Heather's Mom concerning religion and my views on it.

I must say, I really like Heather's family. They are very good people.

I can't wait for tomorrow evening. I haven't hung out with Pinkbunny and PenguinGrrl in far too long.

Oh... Last night and, I think, for a few more nights there are five planet's aligned in the western sky at sun set. This won't happen again until 2040, so if you like astronomy, go out and enjoy the sight. More info here.

Anyway... more pictures below...

How geeky are you?

Today I logged on to our web server and I got the usual login messages, sort of. YOu see, when I login it displays the BSDI licensing agreement and then a random quote. Todays quote seemed to fit perfectly with the licensing agreement:

Use of this software is governed by the BSDI End User Software License.

If you do not accept the terms of this license, immediately return the
distribution to the place of purchase for a full refund. Further
use of the software will be considered to be acceptance of the terms
of the license.

What the large print giveth, the small print taketh away.

My inner geek is giggling with glee. :-)

My movie wish...

I wish they would release The Producers on DVD. It's a Mel Brooks classic.

As I was thinking of stuff to write, I was reminded of one of the quotes in the move:

I am the author. You are the audience. I outrank you!

That is a very important quote to remember when doing your LJ. You are first writing for yourself, your audience comes in second.
