Hey, lyrina, know that guy in the picture? ;)

Fay (fayster), Andrew (monoandy), Heather (synapsepi), and I went to a fun party hosted by ___(Person_to_remained_unnamed_until_Lyra_can_figure_out_who_it_is)___. It was fun, a few Burning Man people, a few people Heather went to high school with, and a whole shit load of Russians.

Apparently they were at a warehouse party in Sunnyvale (who the fuck throws warehouse party's on the lower pennisula?!?!?!?), it got busted, so a whole bunch of Russians came over from that. The house was packed. The music was good. And we had a good time. I just hope Fay wasn't sleeping through work the next day.

Anyway, as I live in Mountain View, if anyone knows of good warehouse parties in the pennisula, Between San Mateo and North San Jose, let me know. I get kind of tired having to drive for about hour to get to a party (or more precisely, driving for an hour to get home when tired after the party).

So, how was y'all's weekends?

I was bored. This is my first "fairie" type picture. Heather, with fine Irish/Scottish feature are very elvish, so I thought a couple wings would look nice. Unfortunately the perspective tool is not working in the version of GIMP I'm running, so I couldn't make the wings look less flat. I got the butterfly wings from Photo.net. My other minor nits and notes are, the shadow on the ground is all wrong, but looks more dramatic than an accurate shadow. The shadow on the wing should be sharper, but then hand jitters would be more obvious. And my one nod to accuracy, I place the wings in the mid back, so the muscles for wings would have room below the shoulder blades, and it gives better weight balance.
