"I changed my headlights the other day. I put in strobe lights instead! Now when I drive, it looks like everyone else is standing still..." -- Steven Wright

Damn, that is a genius idea! And how it would piss off everyone else on the road!!! I wonder how much it would cost to do that mod?

Pet peeve of the day... So I go to CNN.com to see what's happening in the world. I click on "World News" to see what's happening out side of our borders, and what is the lead article in "World News"? "Republicans seize U.S. Senate." Ummm... But, wouldn't that be "U.S. News"? Also seen on the "World News" page, "Nicole Kidman: Speaking out 'Tom and I had real marriage'". That's world news, why?

Dear CNN, are you away that what happens between what happens in the U.S. boarders (U.S. Elelections, U.S. celebrities (though this should be filed under entertainment)) is "U.S. News" and what happens outside the borders is "World News"?

Can people jump higher at the equator? How much would a solar eclipse directly over head help?

At the equator, you have the centrifical force of the earths spin helping you, then if you add the sun and moon directly over head, to add the gravitational pull... How much would that "lighten" you, and assist in your jumping? \

In other words, I suck at pick up basketball, being 6'4" and not being able to dunk. Am I just playing in the wrong venue?
