Ceci n'est pas une personne.

Just a heads up... My next few posts are going to be images heavy (behind lj-cut's). There will be several posts, so no single post has to many images. Sorry if you flooded, it's a one day thing.

Starting with Heather's and my trip to the Portland Zoo.

I really like the trend over the last 10-20 years or so to turn airports into functioning works of art. Here are some pictures of the PDX terminal departures drop off area.

As you know, if you had been reading my LJ, my Grandfather had knee replacement surgery, and I was taking care of him. He's doing great, is ahead of schedule on his recovery, and should be able to ditch the cane in a week or so. Anyway, I had a lot of time on my hands, so I wandered around taking pictures. His garden was in full bloom, and it's a beautiful house in general. And a couple pictures of my Grandfather in there.

This post is a little more image heavy than the last couple, so I might break it up into a couple posts of about 20 pictures each.

This last Saturday was the Portland Transmission Cruise-In. It's the first cruise-in of the year and always has a good crowd and a lot of participants. I was actually holding back on the photo's and still took 107 pictures. SoI'm breaking the posts up into 20 pictures each, again. As for my favorite car? Someone took a 1920's era race car front end and attached it to a 55 ford rear end.I think the front end came from an Alfa, but I'm not sure. Ether way, with it's bright red coloring, agressive look, graceful curves, and beautiful cromed out v-8 peaking out the sides, I have to say it was my favorite. It start's with my Dad's Porsche (our ride to the event).
