Hmmm... I STILL haven't seen "Porn and Chicken"!

How magazines photos are edited. You start with the edited version, then run your mouse over the image to see the unedited version. Damn! With editing like that, even I would look sexy in a bikini. Ummm... Maybe not.

Gender Genie thinks I write like a girl?!?!?!

Like I needed anyone/anything telling me I need to go to Burningman...

Taurus Horoscope for week of August 21, 2003

Verticle Oracle card Taurus (April 20-May 20)
I'm not necessarily suggesting you need a new soul mate. But if you do, this is the perfect astrological moment to go in search of one. Where should you look? I suggest you hang out in unfamiliar territory where you will be fresh and curious -- frontier zones where you're likely to uncover secrets about who you really are. For fastest results, visit the Costco Soulmate Trading Outlet, a clearinghouse for soul mates at the Burning Man festival in the Nevada desert from August 25-31. It offers "quality name-brand and private-label soul mates at substantially lower prices than can be found through conventional wholesale sources." P.S. If you're happy with your existing soul mate, infuse your bond with a concentrated dose of smart, loving creativity. It's a perfect moment to propel yourselves into the next phase of your evolution together.

I'm just curious what peoples views on taxes are. As in who should pay them, people verse individuals. Both sides complain about paying them, but even if one sides pays all the taxes, te other sides still indirectly has to pay also.

Let' say businesses pay all the taxes. To cover this, they either lower ages and/or raise the prices of their good. SoThe individual still pays.

If the individual pays, there would be a huge increase in cost of living, and the wages should raise to reflect this, so the company still pays.

So, in the fight over who pays, does it really matter where the money comes from, as everyone's pocketbook gets hit anyway?

I seem to have lost my camera AGAIN! I lost it at some point yesterday. I have retraced my steps and gone to every business I visted yesterday in hopes someone turned it in.

Things are not looking good.

But them again, everytime I report my camera missing, it turns up within 24 hours, so there is still hope.

I think I've found my canidate for the California Governors Election!!!

From stonemirror:

Robert Anton Wilson has reportedly expressed his willingness to run for governor (as a write-in candidate), representing the "one-man Guns and Dope party". His first order of business upon being elected would be to "Fire 33% of the legislature (names selected at random) and replace them with full-grown adult ostriches, whose mysterious and awesome dignity will elevate the suidean barbarity long established there."

FCC Chief Wants To Boost Media Diversity

although it's hard to argue with this:

Powell said he wants his fellow commissioners to support an inquiry into what rules can promote localism among television and radio stations and how the agency can push broadcasters to be responsive to communities.

The FCC also would form a task force on local issues under Powell's plan that would hold public hearings, another olive branch to critics such as FCC Commissioner Michael Copps, who argued strenuously for public hearings during the debate on media ownership.

Additionally, Powell wants to accelerate the licensing to get more low-power FM radio stations on the air. Low-power FM was launched a few years ago to provide non-commercial programming to audiences in a radius of 3.5 miles.

Powell must be feeling the heat to make these concessions. Either way, I'm wondering how much the licensing for the low-power FM stations are, and what the rules are. www.fcc.gov, here I come...

My LiveJournal Sitcom
adameros In The City (TNN, 7:00): adameros (Christian Bale) causes problems at work when a file from photographie (Mary Stuart Masterson) has a virus. Afterwards, xfetishx (Selma Blair) convinces d_o_c (Gates McFadden) to buy a VCR. Meanwhile, gremliness (Harrison Ford) claims to be pdxshows (David Bowie) in a job interview. Nearby, funnypics (Jamie Lee Curtis) can't find chrishaas (Kim Cattrall)'s mouthwash and pretends it was never missing. That weekend, dailyquote (Soleil Moon Frye) takes rhyming_pics (Walter Matthau) bowling. Insanity ensues.

I think I have well and truely lost my camera this time. I have turned the house upside down, searched the yard, back tracked to every store, resturant, and business I have been to in the last couple days. A happy camper I am not.

But in other camera news, Cannon has just released a digital version of their Rebel line of SLR's. It's 6.3Mp, and the list price is $900. And as the street price is usually 2/3rd's to half the list price, this is an excellent deal. It's getting down to the prices of some 5Mp point and shoot cameras. Except this is more flexible, upgradable, and uses better lenses, so you will have clearer images.

Basicly it's the Canon D-10, with a plastic body, and less functions. So, who wants to hire me as a male escort, so I can get the money? ;)
