Air America: Likes, dislikes, and suprises.

Likes: I love the people involved.

Dislikes: It feels like the only news they report are thing they cn use to bash Bush & Co.. I don't know about you, but I like to think there is more going on in the world than things we can blame on Bush. Besides, they are preaching to the choir, which makes me wonder if this is really for liberals like me. Supposedly the largest segment of listeners to conservative radio shows is liberals who listen get pissed and keep listenning and getting more pissed. Perhaps Air America should sucker some conservatives into listening so they can do the same thing?

Weird: The advertising is not what I expected, ranging from equine vaccines to Wal-Mart. I think the vaccine ne is odd just because I have never heard horse products advertised on the radio before. And Wal-Mart is odd because the owners are very religious right.

End result: I like the concept, but I think I will stick with NPR.

(Potential) Pet peeve #535,498,577,621:

I am guessing the artist who did this image did not ask for permission of the dead soldiers families to make this political message:

I hate Bush with a passion. But I do not think it is right to use the deaths of specific individuals (or their images), without their families permission. This one isn't so bad, is it's just the flag draped coffin, now specific soldier, but I do think that if the person died for something the believe, to twist their sacrifice around for political gain is wrong. But if the person had enlisted to protect America and felt being Iraq was a sham, then the family should know that and be willing to use the soldiers image for an anti-war message. I do not think just grabbing images of these people with out context of their desires and using them for a poltical end is right.

Look Ma! I made a Meme!!!

I've had a couple friends recently comment about how they had weird dreams with friends in them.

So this had me wondering if I've ever made a guest appearence in someones head.

I have enabled anonymous posting and disabled IP logging, so if you are imbarrassed about what these Freudian fantasies might means, you can comment anonymously.

So, without any further ado, please comment here with a descriptions of what ever dreams you might have had with me in them. :-)

Blattently stolen from passionandsoul:
Meme that never existed

Close your eyes, think for a moment, then tell me about your strongest memory of me that never happened. Could be a fantasy (if so, details darling, details), could be a silly idea, could be a daydream you once had, a trip you think we should have taken, or a random time we never met one another. Then post something along these lines in your journal and see what folks never remembered about you. Main rule: it never actually happened. At least not yet, or not in this lifetime...

"Male enlargement ejaculate inflammation budweiser." -- A spam I just got.

Ummm... Yeah.... *slowly backs toward the door*

When spammers talk like that, I'm pretty sure they are also foaming at the mouth.

Do you need any sort of certification to be a non-accredited school? I think I would like to open Adam's School of Bull Shit. With the catch phrase, "We guarantee you will get some kind of B.S.." Hmmm... That might be a fun camp theme too...
