Thinking back on greek mythology and the River Styx. While I relish my memories, I know a number of people haunted by theirs.

So, according to legend the you had to cross the river Styx to reach the afterlife, but if you touched the water you would lose all your memories.

In class it was always taught that the water was to be avoided at all costs. But when I see people tormented by their past, as I'm sure many people in ancient greece were, I wonder if the statemnts about Styx were not a warning but and option.

This random thought brough to you by rainy weather and a lot of boredom.

I've been really enjoying the hacked firmware on my camera. But this have me wondering if the future holds a market for commercial third party firmwares, or if the camera manufacturers will lock things down to prevent this in the future.

Other wierdness... The Canon D10 and Digital Rebels run DOS, complete with cmd.exe. How long until it can be hacked to run linux?
