Ceci n'est pas une personne.

A sign I might be a little too attached to LJ... So far this year, there have only been 6 days that I have not posted something. A sign of my dedication? Or just a sign I need to get a life?

I saw an interesting link on photography, the post is here, but you have to be a member of the community to read it. [Edit: She has the same post un protected in her journal. You can read it here.

The jist of the post is My Publisher has a good deal on printing full color 9"x12" books. It might be a good option for you photographers out there who would like to have coffee table books of your pictures. Right now they are having a sale, $19.95 for a 20 page hard cover book, with full bleed images (images going all the way to the edge of the page), $0.95 for each additional page, etc.

Hmmm... If only I could decide on which pictures I would put in a book...

Actually, you could help me in that regard. I have emotional attachments to my images. When you go to my image gallery, if you could rate the images (the fade blue stars are bad, the bold blue stars are good) it would help me greatly in learning what images the general public likes as opposed to the ones I think are great and can not see their flaws for the personal attachment.

I'm moving some web sites from a BSD system to a Linux system. But to test the sites before I cut over DNS I would like some browser plug-in or extension that would let me use the server ip in the url, but then let me specify the virtualhost.

Anyone know of a browser wit this ability/option?
