I confess that I miss MST3K. Not so much the Mike era. I was never a fan of Mike, he was too much of a pretty boy. But I loved and miss the Joel episodes. Joel had just the right level of geekiness to make for a great show.
I always wanted to make a small Crow hood ornament.
Oh, and I'm seriously jonesing for Red Dwarf. Lister is my role model in life.
Geeky humor is the best.
Another movie I'm looking forward to that I just saw the previous for... The Brothers Grimm. It's directed by Terry Gilliam who directed a few other movies I've loved, like Brazil, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, Time Bandits, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The Twelve Monkeys, The Fisher King, and several (if not all) of the Monty Python movies.
And this movie should be out later this month. Who's going to see it with me? :-D
want need a hair cut. Please advise.
Where is Jimmy Kimmel? I loved Jimmy on Win Ben Stein's Money and on The Man Show, but he seems to have disappeared. Instead we are stuck with Adam Carolla. Adam's voice anoys me and I don't think he's that funny. I wish Jimmy got the placements and coverage Adam gets.
[It feels odd to be slamming someone named "Adam" as I'm also "Adam". Weirdness. Maybe I should watch Eraserhead and it will all make sense.]
I need a fast computer before April 1st. I am almost done with my auto watermarking script apache plugin. It will watermark all the images from the server with the out put form another fortune type script. The fortune script is just like anyother fortune script except it handles one variable passed to the script on the command line. In this case I have a wrapper script for it supplies the name of the referring host requesting the image. So if you are looking images from the server via live journal it will randomly watermark the images with things like "What kind of losers use livejournal?", "thenetw0rk is the internets version of the short bus." "Your mom uses livejournal" etc. If you reload the image, an all new message on the image. Unfortunately, in testing, my system doesn't have the cajones to support this. Especially if people think it's funny and hit reload a lot (which I kind of hope they do).
