Sometime contracting agencies kick ass. Others seem to hire any idiot off the street. Let's see it you can find the flaws in this business letter/e-mail sent to me:

As the departure date nears, a slow panic builds. An I ready? Do I have everything I need. Will things be fine while I'm gone? But that is offset by the excitemnt of once again stumbling across ruins in the jungles, drinking chicha with the locals, and pisco sours with my traveling companions. "Offset", might be the wrong word, as it's more that I oscilate between the panic and the excitement. As the date nears the apmlitude and frequency of this wave of emotion will increase until I get on the plane, then I will sleep for hours as all the panic fades to resignment, and the excitement settles into a sure knowledge that this is all really happening.

It was nice to get out of the house this weekend, and Aimee Mann was good to see in concert. I wish I could have snuck my camera in, but the lense would have been hard to conceal. I'm sorry I missed Nate thistime around. It was great seeing shaebot, crashtestcase, monoandy, and pushshove.

And hopefully we'll all meet up again in October for a beach trip.

If you were to pick one item to represent our zeitgeist, what would it be?

Also, why is it everytime I've been to someplace called "Zeitgeist", it ends up being a punkrock bar? This has happenned in three cities so far.

I mentioned "Stunt Cocks" to someone this morning, and that gave me a flash back to the Best Cock On The Block Contest, which led me to think of t-shirt designs.

But I'm having writers block on catch slogans. Hear is what I've come up with, but nothing is really grabbing me:

"Only the best action shots."
"Grace under fire."
"A hard job done right."
"Filling in when the star can't cut it."
"Something to crow about."

Hmmm... Maybe a whole Cock line of shirts and boxers at Cafe Press? The next on, "Commando Cock"? "Cover me, I'm going in!"
