I know I mentioned that when I was last in Peru that I dined on Guinea Pig and it is a common local food. Now comes the proof...

In fact it is so common that there is a rendition of The Last Supper in Cuzco with Jesus and the Apostles dining on the rodent.

And when I was in Peru, I witnessed how people grow them. The door was normally slightly raise so the animals can't get out, and people would get let them run all over their one room houses, with a bunch of straw for them in a corner. Say "hello" to dinner:

This week has been one huge week long brain fart. If it were a brain belch, my brain would have skipped belching the alphabet, by passed The Star Spangled Banner, and would have done a Santanna jam session length rendition of Lynyrd Skynyrd's Free Bird, on repeat, with guitar and drum solos, and then repeated several times. That is the staying power of this brain fart.

Mmmmm... Taco salad... Loaded with meat, salt, cheese, covered in cream, and served in a crispy edible deep fat fried bowl. It's what a salad should be. Add bacon and it would be perfect!

For a while I've been printing my images and mounting them on the covers of moleskin journals. I think it's time to move on. I wanted to find away to do something like polaroid transfers, but with inkjet printings. The goal being to tranfer them to metal to create a faux tin type, a faux ambrotype, or a faux daguerreo type.

I think this page will lead me in the right way, but to test I think I will see if moleskin comes in anything other than black and do some custom covers. Then try metal/glass and see if I need to clear coat them to protect the images or not.

Three hours to midnight. I missed the peak of the meteor show last night as I was tired, but... There should be more meteor's tonight. From midnight to dawn. I think some people need to come join me, my camera, and the margarita's as I sit out and do some long exposures of the shooting stars tonight. Yep, that is definately what I think.
