Last night I watched the first episode of HBO's new series ROME. I give it a thumbs up.
Once again my curiosity is piquetted. A few times a year we (the Earth and the Moon) pass through meteor showers. The moon lacks an atmosphere to defend it from meteor strikes. Given the cratered and scarred surface, we know it's been hit by space debris many times. In fact, it must get hit a several times every time we have a meteor shower. Has a meteor strike on the moon, as it happens, ever been filmed?
Bitter, jaded, has a shitty job, and writes (and reads) bad poetry... I'm pretty sure that Vogon's are emo.
