With Libby pleading innocent, I wonder if the Bush administration is backing him, or cringing.

With a guilty plea, Whitehouse gains a slight pantena that it can distance it's self from, and the public will quickly forget.

With an innocent plea the administration will have to endure months of possibly very embarrassing testimony and evidence. Even if Libby is found innocent, the amount of dirt and resulting muck raking from what is presented will be immense.

I'm shocked the administration or it's supporters aren't bribing Libby to play the role of the fall guy. Promises of money, jobs, pardons, etc.

The Washington Post is reporting that Bush's popularity has reached a new low. To think, he was re-elected just a year ago. I while back I saw someone mention a t-shirt design that said, "I hated Bush before it was trendy." I'm thinking I need that shirt.

But still... As Bush's polls sink even further, it makes me sad that country is sinking with him, but on the other hand I can say with pride, I did not vote for Bush. When people ask who is to blame, we can look the red states square in the eye and say, "Look at what you did to us."
