Ceci n'est pas une personne.

Sitting together on a train, traveling through the Swiss Alps, are a French guy an American guy, an old Greek lady and a young blonde Swiss girl.

The train goes into a dark tunnel and a few seconds later there is the sound of a loud slap.

When the train emerges from the tunnel, the Frenchman has a bright red hand print on his cheek. No one speaks.

The old lady thinks: The Frenchman must have groped the blonde in the dark, and she slapped his cheek.

The blonde thinks: That Frenchman must have tried to grope me in the dark, but missed and fondled the old lady and she slapped his cheek.

The Frenchman thinks: The American must have groped the blonde in the dark. She tried to slap him but missed and got me instead.

The American thinks: I can't wait for another tunnel, so I can smack that Frenchman again.

As some of you may know, a Danish paper published some drawings of Mohammed. This caused a huge out cry from Islamic communities, and showing any images of Mohammed or against Islamic law. The Dutch paper appologized and what not. You would think it would have ended there, but no...

As a back lash to the Islamic complaint and claiming that Islamic groups want to stifle free speach, several French and German papers have now published the images.

If you wish to see the images, you can look here:

So, how do you feel about it? What about if Islamic groups publish images you might consider blasphemous?

Is the Islamic complaint valid? Should people of one faith be required to follow/respect the limitations of other faiths?

Some have suggested that for the number of riots that occur in the Middle East for thing that happen in western countries that Islmic countries and groups have started trying to be victims, or hyping "minor" things to bring things they want in other political arenas. Is this the case? How many complaints are valid and how many are hypersensitivity, and how many are just bogus?

Discuss!!!
