I love it when photographers share the details of their shots so I can learn from them. That's one of the reasons I enjoy the EXIF fields in jpeg images, as a lot of times when people just post pictures, all of the f-stop, exposure, focal distances, etc info is in the image. But sometime there is more to the image, or that information is missing.

Michael Grecco is a famous portraitist (is that even a word?) and he is one of the featured artist on Digital Journalist. He does more than the usual portfolio, he includes all the layout for how the scenes were set up and what flashes he used.

Hopefully you can learn from it, just like I am/did:

My friend Beau is selling his hybrid car. If you know anyone looking to go green and might be interested, please pass this on.

Beau moved to Seattle in October, and since then has only driven it four times. Rather than pay out the nose for downtown parking for a car he doesn't use, he's selling it. Otherwise, the car is great.

Psy-Trance @ Jai Thai

A good friend of mine is the resident DJ (DJ Beau, a.k.a. Kir Kryyn). If psy-trance, progressive trance, or progressive house are your thing, then I recommend heading down to the Jai Thai in Bell Town Wednesday nights.
