I suspect the way we perceive white skin is odd. When I look at my skin, it appears peach to pink. I take a picture of myself and the the skin still appears peach to pink. But if I use the color eye-dropper thingie in photoshop or gimp the color is says it is is more blue, no matter where I click.

So, am I blue and just seem peach/pink to the human eye or is the eye-dropper on crack?

Anyone else want to try this experiment and share their results?

The type of fliers I would like to try to do... 60's S.F. style psychedelic style fliers. In reality, those porters were strongly rooted in the art nouveau style, which escapes me skills so far. I think I would need finally give in a get used to using paths to be able to do that style of art, instead of my usual free hand stuff.

Now to hunt for some tutorials on how to emulate the style, so I can hopefully avoid some of the trial-and-error process.
