While this hole article is fucked up, this is the line that caught my eye, "she belonged to a cult that worshipped [sic] the late rapper Tupac Shakur as the reincarnation of the 16th century political philosopher Machiavelli."

Now I'm having mental images of Tupac rewriting and singing "The Prince", updated to gangsta rap style.

For those of you that don't know, The Prince is perhaps Machiavelli's most famous work, which most of modern political science is based off of. [Going off of vague memories from college, here so take everything with a grain fo salt.] While it is an excellent work on how to rule and take over countries, the book got him killed. He had been exiled from Italy, and when the new Prince took over the country, he sent the book to the Prince as a gift. The Prince was insulted that Machiavelli would think he could tell him how to do his job, so he had the author killed.
