I took Lilly to the off leash area at Marymoore for a couple hours this morning and she was excellent. She stayed on the trail, she never let me out of her sight or went more than 30' from me.

She was very well behaved with the other dogs. There were two other St. Bernard's there, one was a short coated male who was aggressive, and she instantly went submissive. Other wise she went up and sniffed as many dogs as she could, they sniffed her, and she was happy the whole time. She is very social.

I think it's going to be a shock to her the next time we ride with a human in the car. My truck has bench seats, and I've been letting her ride up front. She likes to stretch out with her head on my lap. She'll be shocked when she has to ride in the backseat.

I was pondering boifuels and I wonder how much existing technology is hamporing us. It seems like everyone is trying to make a replacement for gasoline or diesel. These need specific compression ratios and mechanics that might not provide optimal results for fuels made with bio fuels. We see to be willing to reinvent the engine for fuel cells and electrical power, but why not an engine designed specifically for bio fuels?
