Grrrr.... HP's hpacucli command is lacking one feature I want and/or iLo is lacking one feature I think it should have...

We have some DGL360's with 6 disks. The bott "disk" is a raid 1 of the first two disks and the data disk is a raid 5 of the remaining disks. Unfortunately, we need a bit more data space. HPACUCLI will not let me break the RAID 1, do have the first disk standalone so I can add the second disk to the second raid. I would think Removing a disk from a raid 1 would be a piece of cake. I guess I was wrong.

So I need to delete both raids and remake them the proper sizes. So I go in via ilo (basically a nifty virtual console), and you can not access any of the bios functionality from the ilo interface. I have no idea if this is intentional or not, but it sure would be hand to be able to use a virtual console like a real console.

Anyway, Monday morning I get to go in and do all this on the real consoles.
