Monday I went to the doctor for my physical and to get referred for a hand surgeon and a sleep study.

The good and bad news...

Good:
  • Blood Pressure: 115/74 (Normal is less than 120/80)

Bad:
  • Weight: 261lbs (Ideally I would be about 40lbs less)
  • BMI: 33.2 (Ideally I would have this under 30).

I went in for my blood work this morning, so I should have the results this afternoon.

I have the appointment with the hand surgeon Monday. And I still need to make the sleep study appointment.

There is a certain title I hear brandied about. You've all heard it, and you've likely used it. It is "douche bag".

The odd thing is, while most insults or slurs we use are pretty general purpose, D.B. seems to be reserved for a select few in our daily encounters.

What in your mind constitutes someone being a "douche bag".

Personally, I apply the term to people that are overly narcissistic, pretentious, egotistical, or superficial. Mostly I apply it to men in their 20's who seem to shop exclusively from Ambercrombe and Finch, or similar fashion victim haunts.

What makes you utter the D.B. term when you see someone on the street?
