Ceci n'est pas une personne.

In light of the financial failures of late, and how dramatic their impact individually on the economy, I can't help but wonder if the ati-trust and anti-monopoly laws shouldbe expanded to limit any given financial institutions size in relation to the overall market.

I can't help but wonder if Freddie Mac, and Fanny Mae were a dozen companies instead of two, if some of the other companies would have been smarter about loans and not failed. Same goes for Bear Stern and the banks that have failed.

Yes, more restrictions on loans are likely needed, but I can't help but wonder if we should allow companies to grow so big that their failure poses a risk to the overall security and well being of the nation.
