I wonder how hard it would be to restamp part of a coin. In particular, I would like to change "IN GOD WE TRUST" to "IN DOG WE TRUST".

What the Hell?

One of the reasons the last four years sucked is that the the Republicans had the White House and controlled the House and Senate for a majority of the time. That in it's self isn't horrible (it's not good, but it's not horrible either). The problem is that the Republicans followed Bush lock step most of the time, and did not question him.

Now Obama is in power and the Democrats hold the house and senate, and what happens when one democratic senator says she feel the head of the CIA should have come from within the CIA and not be an external politician? The democrats start shouting her down.

WTF?

Are we once again going to have 4 or 8 years of the ruling party following the president lock-step, without room for discussion or debate?

I like Obama. I trust him and I voted for him, but blind obedience scares the crap out of me.

I was curious what times I will be glued to the TV next Tuesday and it was interesting the different levels of coverage our local Seattle area stations are giving the inauguration.

ABC: 7am-2pm 7hrs
CBS: 7am-5pm 10hrs
NBC: 7am-1pm 6hrs
PBS: No coverage 8am-11am 3hrs TV guide reports they are not covering the inauguration, but the stations website says they will.
CW: No coverage (They do have news from 7am-9am, so the inauguration might be all the news they do that morning.)
FOX: No coverage 9am-10:30am 1.5hrs TV guide reports they are not covering the inauguration, but the stations website says they will.

Do I go in to work late that day and watch it at home, or do I watch it from my desktop at work. Speaking of watching from the desktop... Anyone know of good websites to watch a live stream of the event?
