subject Work week.
Dear Rep. Kingston,
Congress now has to work a five day work week and you have the gall to say, "Keeping us up here eats away at families. Marriages suffer. The Democrats could care less about families -- that's what this says."
What I have to say to you is,"Suck it up, and quit whining." I work 50 hours a week and don't even make half your income. Year some things suffer, but we do what we must to survive. Unless you are going to pass laws to shorten everyones work week to match your desired allotment of labor, then quit being a pansy and get back to work, just like the rest of America has to do. You volunteered to run for this job, you knew it meant working in D.C., and now you complain about the commute and the hours?
That's like someone who moves next door to an airport and bitches about the noise. So either you need a good dose of reality and except the choices you have made, or you need to find new employment. Just like anyone else would have to do.
If you have to work a full work week, or wish you could, I think some members of congress need a e-mail to let them know what it's like in the real world.
