Apartment/house hunting is a pain in the derriere. Luckily Emily is super organized and motivated. So I work in downtown Bellevue now and Emily will be working in the Factoria district of Bellevue soon.
So we're looking for a 2br place close to at least one of our places of employment. To complicate matters, according to the news last night vacancies are at an all time low (about 3%) leading to hire than normal rents and difficulty finding places.
So we're working on option number two, buy a place. Part of me loves the idea of the perks of owning property, part of me fears the responsibility, and part of me is terrified of what happens if the the market crashes and all the jobs in the area dry up, just like the Tech Boom/Bust.
