But on to the most important aspect of the Superbowl... How crap-tacular the ads were. I think the slapstick humor was fine, though the news agencies, with nothing better to report on (like the war in Iraq, Afganistan, Bush's incompetence, etc) are working their pampered asses off to debate if the ads are too violent. Perhaps the news casts should use the violence in their own news casts as a measuring stick, with daily examples of dead bodies, blood flowing, bombs going off, etc. Perhaps the news agencies should be reporting on their own depictions of senseless violence. I was ecstatic to see Go Daddies ads suck major donkey balls. The way they treat their customers, I loved how their ad agencies screwed them over. But, once again the bright spot was the Budweiser ads. This company makes ads that make me want to watch more. Now if only they could make beer.
Oh, and the game was pretty good too. If only the Bears could have kept their momentum, it would have been a far closer game. The second half of the game, though, I could have been just as entertained watch the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet.
