WTF? Obviously Viacom's board of directors are a bunch of spineless twats. The should not have just bent over and covered Boston's costs. Boston should cover the costs of the "bomb scare", as they seem to be the only city with officials retarded enough to confuse a cartoon character with a bomb. Now is seems the head of Cartoon Network is being forced out by the cowards at Viacom, as this just came across the CNN "News Flash":

The head of Cartoon Network, Jim Samples, has submitted his resignation in the wake of the Boston bomb scare sparked by an advertising campaign.

If anything, the marketting worked. I would love to buy an official Mooninite LED board. The only thing that didn't works the rumored grey matter in Boston's city hall.
