Rumor has it that CompUSA is closing a bunch of stores. In Washington they are closing all but one store in Spokane. (Their webpage currently only shows that one store in Washington and two in Oregon now.)

If this rumor is true, the stores that are closing should have some great prices on clearance stuff.

Anyway, if you are looking for something in particular, it might be worth swinging by your local (soon to be closed) store and seeing if there are any deals.

I'm walking down to CompUSA in a couple minutes to see if they are having sales.

Some shelves are empty, but no reduction in prices. For now, don't bother making the trip.

The new rumor is that CompUSA will be dumping all the stuff on eBay, so look out for good deals when they flood the market. Maybe I can get that $850 Espon 9-ink wide carriage printer with roll paper attachment for $100! (I can dream!!!)
