You see, I have not mowed my lawn in 3 weeks. I usually mow it on the weekends, and I mowed it three weeks ago. Then two weekends ago I was in Portland, so I was going to mow it in the evenings, but I was at work till midnight all week, and last weekend I was in Portland again. Then this week it rained everyday so the grass was wet, until last night.... The weather was perfect. I start up the mower and three feet in I destroyed the mower blade. You see the driveway has a wood seam in it, so act as an expansion joint. There are metal rebar posts on either side of the driveway to hold the wood in. On one side the post sticks up three inches of so. I forgot about it and hit it. The mower blade is all bent out of shape. So I need to replace the blade, but it's not that simple. I don't have any wrenches, and I don't have a tape measure to determine what size of wrench or blade I need. So... I need to scooter on down to Home Depot, get a tape measure, then ride back, get the measurements, ride down to Home Depot again and get the wrench and the blade. All while It's fucking raining again!
Anyway, That's today, anyway. I should get a sledge hammer and pound the metal stake in far enough that this never happens again, but I'm not sure how I would carry the sledge hammer on the scooter.
