Transformers was good. Everything rocked except the cheesy government agent.
The movie previews I previously mentioned...
The unamed J.J. Abrams movie looks kind of like The Blair Witch Project meets Godzilla. A monster attacks New York and it's all filmed from the point of view of survivors with camcorders. The best part is the writer is Drew Goddard, who was a writer for the Buffy The Vampire Slayer TV series. http://imdb.com/title/tt1060277/
Across The Universe looks delightfully trippy. An existential musical on acid is how the preview came across. http://imdb.com/title/tt0445922/
And Pushing Daisies is a TV series that is a dark comedy about a man who can bring people back to life. When there is a reward posted to help catch a killer, he revives the corpse, finds out who the killer is, kills the corpse (they don't get into how) catches the killer(s) and collects the reward. It's by the same people that did The Addams Family, Men In Black I & II, and Get Shorty. The head writer worked on Heros and Dead Like Me. The scene on the trailer look very Tim Burton-esque. http://imdb.com/title/tt0925266/
