Actually, anyone know what the FCC rules are concerning using repeaters to extend the range of your signal? You can have upto one watt, which gives you about a one mile range. Then if you were to use the net to broadcast to several sites, each with a one mile range, all on the same frequency. It's conceivable, with volunteers and equoptment, you could cover all of 101 from S.F. to San Jose, and possibly extend things up 880 from San Jose to Oakland/Berkeley. I'm guessing the FCC limits you on your collective wattage, but I don't know.
