For the beers, I ussually get an IPA of some sort, a dark beer of some kind, and then something lighter like belgian or a heffervisen or a golden/amber of some sort.
The cheeses are carefully picked for their pairing with the beers.
And so on.
If anyone is interested in reviews of what we get, let me know and I'll go through the effort of making notes between beverages and posting them here.
One other thing.... When Pete, of Pete's Wicked Ale, solfd his brewer to one of the big industrial brewers, he started making chocolate to be paired with beer. I went to one of his trastings and it was awesome. Sadly, so I don't remember what chocolates go well with what beers. Does anyone have any recommendations in this regard?
