The army is looking to implant soldiers with RFID tags. Aside from the privacy concerns, RFID antenna's are easy to get and not overly expensive and could easily be used for a bomb trigger. For a poor country with few to no rfid id tags on products (like Iraq) so it would be pretty sure the only RFID chips would be in or on the soldiers. This means insurgents could set bombs where ever they like and be assured that the only thing that will set the bombs off are their intended targets. This would let groups feel comfortable putting bombs in houses, buildings, and other areas they might not normally boobie-trap.
In other words, I think RFID chips in soldiers is a bad idea.
